Photographers and travelers are always looking for ways to charge up their various cameras, phones, gps units, etc. prior to heading out for a day’s adventure.   So how do you charge all those travel and photo devices. I previously wrote about a neat way to add usb power outlets to a “normal” electrical outlet by using the FastMac outlet (related post).  It works great and is very handy.  Installation is very straight forward but it does involve removing the old standard two plug outlet and replacing it with the FastMac unit.  Some basic electrical rewiring of the outlet is required.

Several of my friends liked the outlet idea but decided not to take action because they were a bit concerned about rewiring the outlet.  Well, now I have found a solution that just might work for them – and maybe for you as well.  The RCA Charging Station allows you to add usb outlet power to an existing electrical outlet Without Doing Any Rewiring!.   It is just “plug and play” as they say.  Plug this baby in to an existing outlet and – Ta Da – you have two usb power outlets.  True, you do loose one electrical outlet in the process – but that is usually not a problem.  After all, you probably have lots of electrical outlets available.  It’s the usb outlets that are few in number in most homes and offices.

Check out pricing and ordering on our “Favorites Page” – this device might just be what you need.   Power to the People!

Enjoy The Adventure!……………..
