The first leg of my road trip is complete. Having driven from Kansas City through Missouri, Iowa, South Dakota, Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho I have now arrived in Seattle where I will be for a few days visiting family and friends. About 1800 miles and my Road Trek performed admirably. She does get a bit thirsty however. We made “several” gas station stops along the way.
Having never been across Eastern Washington, I was surprised to see how much it reminded me of Kansas. Take a look at the photo above. (Which is an iPhone photo on the road ) Almost looks more like Kansas than Kansas does.
Here in Seattle it is raining as they prepare for their first storm of Autumn. What would Seattle be without rain – right?
For those who might not be aware, I am posting trip updates on Facebook – thoughts, musings – and just junk that pops into my head as I wander down the road. So feel free to stop by and check it out – Bruce W Bean on Facebook. (My thanks to those who have read and shared “likes” and comments. ) I’m not the greatest at Facebook – but I think that’s all the info you need to find me there. And please keep in mind – those posts are done via “Siri” – so be kind and understanding regarding the typos, formatting, etc.
More from the Road as time and resources permit.
Meanwhile ……… Enjoy the Adventure!
