It’s been 29 years – yes that’s YEARS – since the Kansas City Royals Baseball Team has been in post season play. Currently they are in the midst of the World Series, representing the American League against the San Francisco Giants of the National League.The Series, a best of seven game event, currently stands at Royals 2 games and the Giants at 3 games. In other words, the KC Royals must win each of the remaining two games to win the World Series.
The final two games will be played here in Kansas City. Everyone is getting into the spirit and is supporting the home team. For example – here’s a video produced by the Kansas City Symphony –
The production went viral and now the Symphony will be playing the National Anthem at the start of tonight’s game. Winning the final two games will not be an easy task for the Royals. But they are a scrappy bunch. They definitely don’t quit.
