The 2016 Convention for the Global Business Travel Association is now concluded. The event, held this year in Denver, Colorado was a huge success. Over 7,000 people attended this year. Everyone raved about the great event and especially about how Denver, the host city, really rolled out the red carpet for GBTA.
The GBTA Opening Welcome Reception was a true highlight of the week. Held at Mile High Stadium and sponsored by Visit Denver, it was a wonderful introduction to the city and the event. And of course, it was a great party with loads of food, beverages, live music, the Broncos Cheerleaders, and an skydiving team that dropped into the stadium.
Featured speakers included actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus, quarterback Peyton Manning and astronaut Captain Scott Kelly. Large “Center Stage” presentations as well as over 80 smaller educational presentations updated attendees about travel related issues such as airline growth trends, security issues, and customer satisfaction.
The Expo Halls offered acres of presentations and information from over 400 travel related companies.
