SEPTEMBER 11TH – A MOMENT OF REFLECTION

I doubt that any Americans will be unaware or unreflective today, September 11th, of the anniversary of the terrorist aircraft attacks on our country. The tragedy, now fifteen years in the past, had impact on all regardless of age, race, religion or political stripe.

Our focus on this site is with Travel and Photography. These two areas of endeavor were forever impacted, both directly and indirectly, as a result of 9/11. Much has changed since that fateful day in 2001.  Some things are better.  Some —- not so much.

For today, I for one will take a moment to remember, reflect, and rededicate. Perhaps you will as well. September 11, 2001, effected us all. Let it be a day that unites us – a reminder that we are all in this together. Let it be a day to be thankful for all that we have and enjoy – and a day to remember and commemorate those who were lost. And let it be a day for each of us, in our own way, to rededicate ourselves to promoting good will and understanding – to uplifting others and doing our best to live wisely.

Remembering the past well is key to moving well into the future. The journey continues – the path lies ahead.
