Sedona, Arizona – Located midway between Phoenix and Flagstaff , Sedona is in the heart of Arizona’s Red Rock Country. The city itself has become a bit congested and touristy over the years. But the true beauty of the area is outside the city. So load up your back pack, grab your camera gear, be sure you have plenty of water, and hike through some of the most gorgeous vistas in the Southwestern United States.

Keeping comments to a minimum, I’ll let the photos do the talking.

Just to prove I was there ………….

Trails are fairly well marked, this one sounded interesting and I headed out.

The end of the trail brings you to this arch / bridge well up the mountains. It was quite a view and well worth the effort. Great place for a “selfie” – although you will require some help from fellow hikers for this shot.
